GSSS Hawani is situated in the palms of Lindi Dhaar of Sarkaghat Tehsil .School is situated at 8 km distance from tehsil headquarter Sarkaghat.This school was established as Primary school in 1950.School was upgraded to Middle school in 1962 and further upgraded to high school in 1985.It was further upgraded to Senior secondary level in 2006.
School right from its begining has produced a big number of Engineers,Doctors,administrators ,army officers and other valuable human resource for this great country.
